Pettinatura Fibre Pregiate (for combing fine fibers) was created by the Cashmerefine Group as a "service" firm specialized in "combing" cashmere and other precious fibers for the firms of the group and in outsourcing. Combing is the process through which the single fibers are made the same length and smoothed out, while eliminating at the same time the short fibers and any possible impurities such as plants, dandruff and buttons. The resulting product, a combed ribbon, is very much appreciated by spinners thanks to these characteristics. In this way it is possible to produce yarns in very fine counts that are suitable for the present day needs of lightweight and compact garments without losing the precious typical characteristics of cashmere and other precious fibers.
